There was no escape. Finn knew that all too well.
He’d tried every remedy, but she’d lodged herself firmly in his mind. What’s more, she’d started to bond with his friends and was getting closer and closer to him.
But she didn’t want him. She’d never said so, of course, but it was clear to him. She detested him. She couldn’t even bear to have him in the same room.
What to do in such cases? Give up or delude oneself?
