Nel silenzio della parola (In the silence of the word) is the title of a syllogue of poems, accompanied by photogreaphs, that springs from a continuous, strenuous, instant-by-instant questioning. Valentina Picco is driven by this incessant search that leads her to listen to silence, from which the much-loved words emerge, words that are found between the folds of the skin, everywhere in the body. Language unfolds and radiates and everywhere it inhabits the body and the world, which thus come to life, are shaped by this proceeding of words. Bodies in dialogue, wind, river, flowers, inhabit these writings, and become in turn, in an endless cyclic flow, the author writing.
