Romana Romano's collection Preludi di armonia (Preludes of Harmony) stems from a desire to give voice to lived experiences, thoughts and feelings that take shape in confrontation with reality, which is often complex and difficult to interpret.
Each poem starts from a natural image, inspired by the author's homeland: Sicily, a place rich in colours and contrasts, made up of sea, sun and the imposing presence of Mount Etna, which leaves a deep mark on the soul even before it does on the eye (from the preface by Giulio Greco).
