It is a collection of singular firmness and consistency, this that we hear Gregorio Lato (the author is signed with a pseudonym), despite the panoply of years and situations that put together, with the first of six sections total days even, odd days which dates back to the early '80s to arrive until very recently (the last section, Sooner or later, it is 2015). A unity that is given, rather than by themes, by the consistency of tone, from the climate, so to speak "Morandi", evident in the objective stylistic cursus, surgery, a writing based on research of essentiality and geometric accuracy, classical, to vocabulary level metric syntax, albeit with some tasty invention (graphic) and a sprinkling of irony. Gregory side puts in place the resources of a flat, lenticular writing, cultured and refined, able to enter without trauma, especially for the reader, "the hell of the forest" existence (Vincenzo Guarracino).
Whatever baggage that is assigned there at the beginning when affioriamo maternal ocean, there remains the possibility or at least the hope of correcting the fate, deny the odds, escape the masters of our souls, to sprout grass in the wreckage, to born life where the absence reigns.
