Among the poets of the last generation fails the idea of "community", the purpose of the group that had characterized the so-called "Seventy" or, better yet, a good group of authors, very aggressive, by birth between 1968 and the 1977.
Now we are faced with an identity as opposed to frayed and lonely, weak and combative, a potential new "generation in the shade," not classifiable in one simplistic category, but can instead create with their work as already was the case for those born in the sixties important works. And just from the works we have to start if we want to raise the status of contemporary Italian poetry, the only antidote (and these new authors have well understood) are the texts.
