For Cristina Campo (and herein lies her topicality), the battle being fought in the twentieth century, after the Second World War, was between modernity, atheist, materialist and progressive, and the safeguarding of tradition, a typical characteristic of the misonist, who rightly maintains that rejecting what is defined as "custom" can allow those in power to easily establish different levels of influence on others (fashions are a striking example).
So, bravo to Giorgio Anelli for having grasped this and for having set up his reading of the Campo bearing in mind these components - let us define them, without any forced saccidity, as elected, noble, "superior".
