In this collection of poems by Achilles Abraham Saporiti are elements of continuity with respect to previous publications: the profoundly religious vision of life, the prospect aeternitatis sub species of human events, the condensation of the inner dictation style, but a latent musicality founding, the mentality the gift that turns into Franciscan praise, hope and the desire for a conversation with the reader.
Here, however, we find a further development of these features: external events are reduced almost to shadow, religious vision is grafted on a thoughtful and urgency metaphysics translates into a rate markedly wisdom.
God does not manifest itself in the heroic deeds, in the miracle, in the events sublime, but the secret of consciousness in the daily bread of the children in love, in memory of loved ones, in the view of nature, writing poetry is like God ... 'air: Feel of losing Him only when you're missing:
Non nel grido squarciante
ma con la voce del silenzio
Dio venne tra fuoco e fuoco
a visitare Elia,
e con voce sottile viene a noi.
