Vincenzo Guarracino was born in Ceraso (SA) in 1948 and lives in Como. He has published several collections of poetry. As an Italian, he has focused on Verga and Leopardi, to whom he devoted essays, critical editions and anthologies. As a scholar of Greek and Latin scholar, he took care in particular translations of "Greek lyrics," the "Latin Poets", the "Carmi Catullus." He has also prepared numerous anthologies of modern and contemporary poets, including "Love from A to Z" (2014) and, with Mauro Ferrari and Emanuele Spano, "The flower of Italian Poetry" (2016). He works as a literary critic and art, newspapers and magazines.
