Gianluca Imperiale (born Gianluca Ghisellini), was born in Milan on July 24, 1981. After high school he enrolled at the University, taking a scientific path. In 2009 he graduated in Science and Technology for the Environment at the University of Milan Bicocca.
The passion for writing, latent for several years, was officially born around 2013 when Imperiale, inspired by authors such as Alessandro Baricco and Massimo Bisotti, began to publish his first poetic compositions through his social pages, gaining a fair amount of success.
The meeting with Ladolfi Editore took place in 2014 when Giulio Greco, co-director of the publishing house, spurred Imperiale to produce a series of writings and thoughts destined to become a full-fledged poetry collection.
The idea for the novel Tears Without Salt, on the other hand, was born in 2020, with Imperiale and Greco having the intuition to create an unpublished product that combines fiction and poetry. After a long artistic journey, in December 2023 the long-awaited novel finally sees the light of day.
Gianluca Imperiale thus presents himself, in his first experience as a writer, with a narrative composition steeped in feeling, a romantic journey that will lull the reader into a bed of positive emotions.
