Canio Mancuso (Melfi, 1971) lives in San Severo. In 2004 he founded the humorous monthly «Za!». From 2005 to 2006 he was editor of the magazine "Sguardi".
He wrote or wrote (especially poetry) for the magazines «Fermenti», «The networks of Dedalus» and «Christianitas», and for the newspapers «L'Attacco», «Capitanata.it» and «Zeroventiquattro.it».
It is mentioned in the volume Literature of the twentieth century in Puglia (Progedit, Bari 2009 and 2010), edited by Ettore Catalano, in the chapter dedicated to contemporary Foggiana poetry. Some of his poetic texts have appeared on «Fermenti», «Poliscritture», «Gradiva» », and on the Spanish-language magazine« Ómnibus ».
In 2015 he curates, together with Raffaele Niro, the anthology (special issue of the magazine "Quaderni dell'Orsa", published by Besa) Under the widest sky in the world. Thirty poets dauni, dedicated to Daunia poetry from 1900 to the present day.
In March 2016 he published, again with Besa, the collection of poems Fiammiferi, translated into French.
