Giacomo Gusmeroli was born in Tartano at sunset on 17 October 1955. He is a native of the Val Corta where he lived his first years of life.

He published Apprentice of the word (War), Lucòre d'acqua (Studio 64), The balance in equilibrium (Liberodiscrivere), Living here (Transeuropa, new poetic 2.0), The sea wind (Pulcinoelefante editions by Casiraghy), Four months and twenty days (LietoColle).

It is translated into English and is present in the anthology of the National Prize of Poetry Città di Corciano and in the magazine «Poesia» by Crocetti.
