Martino Savitri Cecilia

Cecilia Martino Savitri (Rome, 1976) is a scholar of the poetic voice that nestles in the silent heart of words. She has a multidisciplinary background – Eastern and Western philosophy, linguistics, journalism and communication – practises and teaches yoga faithful to the spiritual tradition of its origins, and holds seminars on poetry thanks to the travelling project “La Gioia di dialogare con la Voce dei Poeti” (The Joy of Dialogue with the Voice of Poets), spreading the importance of intuitive contemplative listening to awaken self-knowledge and express oneself in the world in a more harmonious and conscious way. His publications include Comunità mediatiche. Il sacro e il profano delle nuove tribù tecnologiche (Bulzoni 2002), the anthologies illogicaMente and Il mestiere del dare (Aracne 2018), and the short story Un qualsiasi giorno a Varanasi (print edition 2024), inspired by one of his trips to India. He currently lives in the Marche region, with a great zest for life: remembering the beauty of the living word, of the soul within everyday language.
