Valentino Antonio Mora was born in Bolzano Novarese, where he still lives. A teacher, with a passion for mountains and astrophysics, he has dedicated long periods of his life to sports, theater (director, mime, actor and writer of theatrical texts) and to painting. In 1992 he attended the Writing Laboratory of Sebastiano Vassalli and Lorenzo Fazio. In 2000 one of his poems appeared (as a winner) on the heading n. 241 of "Specchio" ("La Stampa"), held by Maurizio Cucchi. He published four books of poetry: I would like everything to be but it is already, The Spheres in Thoughts, Melagrana and Boats, a title on the volume The Italian contemporary poets, and three novels: Ingravo (the country of the mills), Nubi (the enigma of time) and The infinite scale (Up there is no wine). Two volumes are dedicated to his country: Bolzano. Legend. Chronicle and history and Bolzano is told. Bolzano, its people. He is currently devoting himself to his new novel set in Val Grande.
