Paolo Pedrazzi was born in Moncalieri (TO) on February 29, 1984, and lives in the province of Asti. He attended the University of Turin, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
He is interested in literature, philosophy, theology, psychoanalysis and art.
He has translated poetic texts from antiquity and modern English and French classics into verse; he has published an essay of poetic translation and commentary of the poem TheHuntingof the Snark by L. Carroll, entitled La caccia allo Slualo, (2011, Biblion Editions).
In the area of children's literature, he has published Marcello Testainsù (2022, Km Editions) and Dodo is made like this (2024, Km Editions).
Strictly with regard to poetry, he has no fear of straying beyond the rational and traditional and prefers texts by authors, such as Trakl, Rimbaud, and Campana, who are marked by an “overcoming” of the poetic genre in the Crocian sense and who, through their writing, sketch the vision of a new category of the Spirit.
In 2023 he published the poetic sylloge Optica (Heretic Editions).
