This book aims to re-examine, expound and explore the political thought of Immanuel Kant and Hans Jonas in order to respond, with specific reference to certain articles of the Italian Constitution, to the challenges currently facing Europe, the United States and the entire international community, with regard to the principles and issues of the rule of law, a desirable peace among peoples and the urgent need to develop a firm awareness of the legal and solidarity-based belonging of the human race.
