The anthology collects poetic texts of 68 poetesses from around the world on the theme "The body, the eros".
Female poetry treats the "flesh", which for Merleau-Ponty is the sensitive, that is the original, coming to the presence. To grasp the presence there is need of the perception that is expressed in poetry, it puts to the world, that is, expresses the original being, expresses the being that is the arch. The peculiarity of poetry, of art, and in particular of the feminine is given by the fact that it manages to express the subject and the object as custodians, in their being, of the original from which they were generated and which makes them natural: the natured affirms the naturante from which it flows; in short, the feminine poetry expresses the Great Mother who is generating and generating.
