At age fourteen, Carolina seems unbearable having to spend the summer holidays with Aunt Patrizia at Noreglia, a resort on the Ligurian coast. Here, however, he knows a peer suffering from early age disease from which he learns to consider reality more clearly. But what drives her to understand herself is above all the diary written by Aunt Patrizia during the summer of her sixteen, in 1978, reading her secretly, Carolina follows a story of friendship and love that fascinates her and intertwines with various present situations. An added page many years later will be the last enlightening surprise.
