The collection La fragranza delle terra (The Fragrance of the Land) by Grazia Greco is based on the country-city dialectic, a contrast that does not only concern the landscape aspect, but winds its way through the inner meanderings of the writer, who tackles the subject not from a historical, sociological or cultural perspective, but from a human and poetic one.

Even when the focus shifts thematically from the place of origin, the impossible desire to reconstruct, even from afar, that atmosphere of relationships with family, people, nature, landscape, and inner serenity, lost at the moment of detachment, remains visible.
