“Non c’è misericordia/ per la nostalgia” p.65, the latter recite some verses of poetry collection by Renzo Rich. It is an observation, but a conviction and at the same time a rejection, a desire to repel away from his life any way you are looking for in the past the reasons for this.
"The eternity of ruins", in my opinion, is a path set in a time out of time, where past, present and future were raised to another dimension, and the thought of living in a continual and daily reality or the events of world, any particles that make up our existence have their reason in a eternarsi of consumption: “Oh l’umiltà del cosmo/ malgrado il suo splendore/ la modestia di nascere e svanire…”, p. 23.
As you can see Renzo Rich does not look in the newspaper the reasons of existence or die, but jumps in the To Kill a Mockingbird to dispel the ghosts of the body that every day became more tired not give up the progress, which allows him to fathom that darkness and find new energies that are not subject to the laws of gravity, but soaring towards different horizons and those are, or at least try to find answers to questions remained without results.
It is as the harbinger of a new life, that is not beyond death, that even in these verses, but you could always say in the poem by Renzo Rich is evoked and sensed, but that of a thought that is new, or better is "dematerialized", if I may say so, to try and find new hooks and new forms not related current experience.
It is the concept of "world-gift" that Rich is also involved if the reflection is not exempt from pain, a pain so contingent, as a necessary consequence of our shortcomings, defines the contours and it is this definition that makes us human, so that in this humanity we can recognize, important for each other “ora su te stessa intoni/ un canto d’addio/ e tutti i pianti del mondo/ chiami a raccolta/ unitevi pianti!/ stiamo insieme/” because the “Vano soffrire/ che fa più soffrire” p.124, maybe not sufficient and useless, to ourselves, to our weaknesses.
In this context we should not underestimate a thin pain of existence that comes from the soul that feels inadequate in the face of earthly reality but also in front of the great mystery that surrounds us, and yet the mind and the heart attempts to show and tell himself. “Potremo mai sconfiggere / l’afflizione del tempo/ che tramonta/ si/ anche quando è eterno?” p.99.
This continual wandering in the territories "other", these explorations in those areas nebulae that Rich Socratic called "logoi" leads him to exclaim almost “quel che non si vede/ quel che non si tocca/ ma forse è il vero vero” p. 91
That divine poetry of Renzo Rich is not so much a theological concept as a dimension of existence, which is the ultimate reason for his attempt to illuminate the darkness beyond the fence where all the threads of the weft are woven together to form the figure .
